Kevin Nealon is an American comedian and actor maybe best known as a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1986 to 1995, roles in the Happy Madison films, Doug Wilson on the Showtime series Weeds, and as a veteran stand-up comedian. Kevin also hosts his hit interview series Hiking with Kevin on his YouTube channel, with new episodes returning on October 27th 2022. Kevin also happens to be a talented caricature artist. As far back as the Tuesday-afternoon table reads for SNL, Nealon would drift off and sketch fellow cast members in the margins of the scripts; Chris Farley, Dana Carvey, Jan Hooks, or that week’s guest host would become his unwitting subjects. In recent years, Nealon has switched to a digital tablet where he paints celebrities, his famous friends, and his idols from early years, exaggerating their characteristics with his distinct style of humor.
In I Exaggerate: My Brushes with Fame, Nealon pairs his original full-color paintings with hilarious and endearing stories about the famous subjects he paints. Recently Kevin was a guest on The Barn podcast where he discussed famous SNL skits such as Chippendales with Chris Farley and Patrick Swayze, working on the hit series Weeds, and his new hiking show in which he and Weird Al Yankovic stroll through the Los Angeles hills.
