Saint Louis FC continues to strengthen its squad by officially signing forwards Jordan Roberts and Jeremie Lynch for the 2015 USL season.
Jordan Roberts – F / Durham, England
Roberts, 22, finished his four-year career at Quincy University in 2014. He played in 82 games for the Hawks, making 73 starts. Roberts registered 52 goals and 19 assists during his career at QU.
Roberts received several honors while playing at Quincy, including All-Great Lakes Valley Conference First Team accolades. He was also a member of the St. Louis Lions in the USL PDL.
“Jordan was first seen in a regional PDL semifinal match when he almost single-handedly upset the Michigan Bucks,” STL FC Head Coach Dale Schilly said. “Jordan is a player who is driven by scoring goals. Around the penalty area, he is always looking to take players on and create chances for himself.
“Jordan can be a dangerous player because he has the ability to attack from either flank, score from distance, and combine chances as well.”
Jeremie Lynch – F / Victoria, Jamaica
Lynch, 23, arrives at Saint Louis FC with five years of professional experience. He began his professional career in 2011 with Harbour View Football Club in Kingston, Jamaica. There, he scored 11 goals in 32 appearances over two seasons.
Lynch was then on loan for part of the 2013 season with El Salvadorean club Luis Angel Firpo. He appeared in seven matches and scored one goal.
“Jeremie is a fighter, and he is fighting his way into his next level of the game,” Schilly said. “He has gone outside of his comfort zone by trying to make it in El Salvador, and he has done the same by joining Saint Louis FC.
“Jeremie is a hard worker who is willing to run the channels to get in behind opposing defenses. The most intriguing quality that Jeremie possesses is his hunger and desire to achieve success at the highest level. If he keeps that spirit, we will help him.”
