St. Louis Ambush Re-Sign Stefan St. Louis

The St. Louis Ambush professional indoor soccer team have signed veteran forward Stefan St. Louis for the upcoming 2019-20 season, the team announced today. Per league and team policies, no further details were disclosed.

The 2019-20 season marks the ninth in professional indoor soccer for Stefan St. Louis. He has played with the Detroit Waza Flo (PASL), Missouri Comets (MISL and MASL) and Milwaukee Wave (MASL). He previously played with the Ambush during the 2014-15, 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons. Stefan has appeared in 113 career games, posting 57 goals and 44 assists (111 points).

St. Louis spent his collegiate career at Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan and spent most of his summers playing with the Michigan Bucks (PDL). When not playing for the Ambush, Stefan keeps busy coaching. He serves as Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Harris-Stowe State University and as Assistant Girl’s Soccer Coach at Webster Groves High School. St. Louis also serves as head coach for FC Maritsa, an outdoor team in the United Premier Soccer League.

The Ambush kick off their 2019-20 season when they welcome the defending MASL Champion Milwaukee Wave to the Family Arena on Black Friday, November 29, 2019 at 7:05 p.m. CT. Ahead of the season, the Ambush will treat fans to their annual free Fanfest, including an exhibition game against the Dallas Sidekicks, next Saturday, November 16, 2019. Fanfest activities commence at 4:30 p.m. CT with the exhibition game slated for 7:05 p.m. CT.
