The St. Louis Ambush play twice at The Family Arena this weekend, hosting the Harrisburg Heat on Friday, February 2 at 7:35 p.m. CT and welcoming the Kansas City Comets on Sunday, February 4 at 2:05 p.m. CT.
The Ambush come into the weekend with a 2-11 record and face one team ahead of them in the standings and one behind.
Friday’s duel against Harrisburg is the only one scheduled between the Ambush and Heat during the 2023-24 regular season. It is also the first game of the weekend for two teams who play twice. Harrisburg visits the Milwaukee Wave on Saturday. The Heat come to town in seventh place in the MASL East standings, one spot behind the Ambush. The visitors will be looking to improve on their 1-10 record.
Sunday’s matchup is the fourth of six meetings between the Ambush and Comets slated for the regular season. Kansas City has prevailed in the previous three games. They invade The Family Arena in fourth place in the MASL Eastern Conference with a 7-6 record. The Comets also play twice this weekend, visiting the Baltimore Blast on Friday night.
After this weekend’s action, the Ambush continue the current home stand when they host the Tacoma Stars next Saturday, February 10 at 6:05 p.m. CT at The Family Arena. February 10 is also Alumni Night, poster giveaway night and there will be a post-game autograph session on the field after the game.
