The How I Met Your Mother star has been recently announced that he is about to be ‘unplugged’ in the upcoming Matrix 4 film. Notably, the actor has starred in films such as the Harold and Kumar film series and Gone Girl; however, he is perhaps the most known from the How I Met Your Mother television series, portraying the comedic adulterer Barney Stinson.
As of today, The Matrix 4 plot has been tightly under-wraps; while we do know that Keanu Reeves and Carrie Ann Moss will reprise their roles as Neo and Trinity respectively, it is unknown as to what role Neil Patrick Harris will play in the latest Matrix installment.
Production of The Matrix 4 has been scheduled to commence in 2020.
