St. Louis Ambush Add Midfielder Jonnathan Pachar

The St. Louis Ambush have added midfielder Jonnathan Pachar to their roster for the 2019-20 season. Ambush CEO Shelly Clark announced Pachar’s signing today. Per league and team policies, no further details were disclosed.

Pachar comes to the Ambush with two seasons of professional arena soccer experience with the Cedar Rapids Rampage. His 2017-18 season was shortened to two games due to injury. He played in 19 games during his 2016-17 rookie season. Pachar compiled four goals and three assists over those 21 games.

Pachar is a native of Cuenca, Ecuador who spent his collegiate career at Robert Morris University in Illinois. Among his college teammates were MASL players Gordy Gurson and Bobby Hurwitz. Jonnathan also serves as assistant coach at Malcolm X College in Chicago and coaches for Puebla FC U6 and U8 divisions. Pachar was a three year starter at Elk Grove High School in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Jonnathan has also played for the Chicago Fire Juniors and Deportivo Cuenca U18 in Ecuador, and Estudiantes in Ecuador’s second division

Ambush Head Coach Hewerton said of his newest player, “I’m extremely excited to have Jonnathan Pachar join our family. He is a very dangerous player and will add experience and  physicality to our squad.”
