St. Louis Ambush Announce New Dance Team, Tryouts

The St. Louis Ambush will have their own dance team for for the 2018-19 season, the club announced today. The “Ambush Brigade” will be coached by Tess Boyer, a former St. Louis Rams cheerleader who is currently the Director of Spirit Programs and Community Relations for the Missouri Baptist University dance squad. Tess is also a talented performer in her own right, having appeared on Season 6 of The Voice on NBC in 2014.
Tryouts for the Ambush Brigade are slated for Sunday, April 8 at 2:00 p.m. at the Family Arena. The fee to try out is $30. Doors open at 1:00 p.m. The admission fee to watch the tryouts is $10 for ages 13 and older. Admission is free for those 12 and younger. Boyer is looking forward to kicking off the new dance team. “I am unbelievably excited to be bringing back the Ambush Brigade,” Boyer said. “I look forward to giving St. Louis and the Ambush a professional dance team that the city and fans can rally behind once again. Our roster will consist of elite dancers that are successful in skill, occupation, ambition and community outreach. Get ready St. Louis and Ambush fans, we’re coming soon.”

Perez said, “We are thrilled to finally have our own professional dance team and excited to broaden our Ambush family and be able to reach out to more of the community with help from the squad.”

The Ambush kick off their 2018-19 season in December, and will play a 24-game schedule with 12 home games at the Family Arena.
