The St. Louis Ambush have traded for defender Pablo Da Silva and midfielder Antonio Aguilar from the Cedar Rapids Rampage, in exchange midfielder Victor France will be joining the Rampage.
Pablo brings ten years of professional indoor soccer experience to the Ambush. A native of Florianopolis, Brazil, he has played for the Baltimore Blast, Milwaukee Wave, Chicago Soul and the Rampage. He’s got three championships under his belt and in the four games played this season, he has posted four goals and two assists.
Aguilar comes to the Ambush having played for the Chicago Mustangs and Cedar Rapids Rampage. The left footed midfielder hails from Hammond, Indiana and earned 53 points while attending Depaul University. He won the championship while representing the USA in the NEYMAR 5v5 in Brazil and won the World Soccer 5’aside while representing the USA in Dubai.
The current season was France’s fourth with the Ambush. He joins the Rampage with nine points and six goals on the season.
The Ambush face back-to-back games on the road this weekend. They visit the Harrisburg Heat on Friday, December 1 and the Baltimore Blast on Saturday, December 2, before returning home to the Family Arena to host the Milwaukee Wave on Friday, December 8 at 7:35 p.m. CT.
