The Cardinals are believed to be talking to Atlanta Braves about a potential deal for 1B Freddie Freeman.

Jason Heyward and Freeman were roommates in the minor leagues and lived together in Atlanta.

ESPN on Freeman: Matt Adams isn’t a long-term solution at 1B & Cardinals need offense… maybe ATL & STL can come up with another win-win deal.
