Capping off a busy day during which Stefan St. Louis was sent to the Milwaukee Wave, the St. Louis Ambush have acquired Gordy Gurson from the Seattle Impact. Terms of the cash transaction were not immediately announced.
Gurson, who has scored 36 goals and 12 assists in 13 games, brings an offensive presence to the Ambush that the team has desired.
“Gurson is a scoring machine, and we’re excited to have obtained his rights today,” said Ambush owner Andrew Haines. “We look forward to seeing what a difference he can make for our team.”
The Ambush next game is Friday night, January 16, when they travel to Wichita to take on the B-52s. They will also play Saturday night in Independence to take on the Missouri Comets before returning home for back-to-back games against the Tulsa Revolution and Missouri Comets on January 23 and 24.
