Grouplove shared their love with St. Louis when they stopped at The Pageant on Sept. 21 during their Just What You Want fall 2021 concert tour. And, as any fan of this L.A.-based alt rock band will tell you, it was a night full of exactly what they wanted. It also included five songs from their March 2021 album This is This. The majority of the band donned matching jackets while Hannah Hooper and Christian Zucconi each practically popped off stage with their flaming orange tresses.
A solid light show intermittently infused with strobes highlighted the dynamic presence of Hooper and Zucconi throughout the night. The other members showed off their talents, shining brightly in the spotlight as well. At one point Hooper noted how much they missed touring, that it was their way of life, and that they did not realize how much so until this tour began.

Kansas City’s (Raytown to be specific) newcomers BLACKSTARKIDS opened the night with their mix of pop, hip-hop, indie rock, and rap to a growing, appreciative crowd.
