Meg Myers Dazzles Sold Out Delmar Hall

by

Bewildering, unique, and angsty: Meg Myers is one to watch. Playing to a sold out crowd at Delmar Hall courtesy of 105.7 The Point’s 2018 round of HoHo Shows, she brought with her The Blue Stones, a Canadian rock duo that set the night off right.

With Myers’ vocals and style reminiscent of Alanis Morissette, her dark, yet whimsical music kept true to The Point’s listeners’ style and had the audience dancing from start to finish. Myers was less animated onstage than she normally is, but was vocally strong with a prettier-than-normal production.

Selling out Delmar Hall on a cold night in December speaks for itself. Drawing a dense crowd, so much so that navigating the venue was next to impossible, Myers turn outs continually get larger and larger in St. Louis. And judging by the enthusiasm last night, St. Louis is happy to have her.
