The St. Louis Ambush (2-2) continue their four-game road trip when they clash with the Rochester Lancers (1-4) tonight at the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial in Rochester, New York. Action gets underway at 6:00 p.m. CST and will be broadcast live via YouTube.
St. Louis played their first road game of the season last night and came away with a 10-6 triumph over the Syracuse Silver Knights, who were undefeated prior to Friday night’s contest. Tonight’s game is the first of only two meetings between the Lancers and the Ambush during the 2013-14 regular season. The second will be January 3 at the Family Arena in St. Charles.
While the Ambush will carry the momentum of last night’s victory into tonight’s game, the Lancers will look to rebound from a 12-0 shutout loss to the Baltimore Blast last night in Baltimore.
Following tonight’s duel in Rochester, the Ambush, presented by Simmons First National Bank, will travel to Independence to face the Missouri Comets on December 22, then on to Milwaukee for their first meeting of the season with the Wave on December 28, before returning home to host the Silver Knights on Sunday, December 29 at 3:35 p.m.
