St. Louis CITY SC’s second season is on! The club invites fans and supporters of all ages to show off their CITY spirit and celebrate the start of the 2024 season with first team players and coaches at the Season Kickoff Event, Saturday, Feb. 17 from 1-3 p.m. at The Armory (3660 Market St., St. Louis, MO 63110). This event is free, family friendly and open to the public.
Attendees will hear from President & GM Diego Gigliani, Head Coach Bradley Carnell, new and returning players, and others from the club as the team preps for Round One of the Concacaf Champions Cup and the start of the 2024 MLS regular season. This will be the first chance for fans to see players wearing CITY SC’s new 2024 secondary kit, which also will be available for purchase. Fans will be able to enter to win an opportunity to get on-site autographs from the team.
“After a historic inaugural season, we are ready for Year Two and are excited to be back at CITYPARK for Round One of the prestigious Concacaf Champions Cup, followed by our MLS home opener,” said Diego Gigliani, St. Louis CITY SC’s President & GM. “Help us gear up for these crucial matches and get our 2024 season started! At the event, CITY Futures community coaches will host indoor skills sessions for the next generation of soccer stars. Fans will be able to shop the latest CITY gear, and enjoy a jam session led by Fleur de Noise as well as a photo booth and giveaways. CITY SC also will make an exciting announcement, revealing the headliner of the season’s first CITY Block Party, taking place Saturday, Feb. 24 at 4 p.m. on Lou Fusz Plaza, before CITY SC’s MLS home opener.
CITY SC competes in Round One of the Concacaf Champions Cup on Tuesday, Feb. 20 with a match against Houston Dynamo at CITYPARK; the team begins MLS play with its regular-season home opener versus Real Salt Lake at CITYPARK on Saturday, Feb. 24.
