Saint Louis rolled to a 102-66 victory over NCAA Division II Lincoln (Mo.) University on Wednesday in nonconference men’s basketball action at Chaifetz Arena.
The Billikens improved to 2-0 with the victory. It was the first game of the season for Lincoln.
Sincere Parker matched a career high with 20 points on 9-of-12 shooting from the field. Gibson Jimerson started out hot from 3-point range, hitting his first four shots from beyond the arc and finished with 16 points. Tim Dalger also scored in double figures, finishing with 12 points.
Stef van Bussel led the Bills on the boards, pulling down nine rebounds and finishing with seven points. Ten Billikens scored, including Lamont Evans IV who drained a trey en route to a career-best five points.
The Bills shot a sizzling 61.8 percent from the field in the game, including 50 percent from 3-point range.
Parker was called for back-to-back technical fouls at the 14-minute mark of the second half, resulting in an ejection.
The Billikens utilized a 15-0 run early in the game to build a substantial lead, and they never looked back.
Three Blue Tigers scored in double figures – Tyson Robinson (15 points), Franck Yetna (14 points) and DJ Richardson (14 points).
