  • Slashed .311/.417/.429 with 15 extra-base hits, 41 RBI and 42 runs scored in 49 games for the Matadors as a redshirt sophomore in 2023.
  • Started 34 games at catcher in 2023, throwing out 40.9 percent of would be base stealers (9-for-22) and was placed on the Buster Posey Award Watch List.
  • Named to the 2022 Big West All-Academic Team.
  • Was part of Orange Lutheran (CA) High School baseball team that won the National High School Invitational three years in a row from 2017-19.

Tarlow’s two RBI

Graysen Tarlow pinch-hit for the starting catcher in the sixth inning, bases having been walked loaded by a young man, Eddie Smink, making his collegiate debut, with two outs and the game tied 2-2. He delivered a hard hit literally off the Smink’s leg, which rolled into no-man’s land as if it had eyes, allowing two to score.
