Last Week’s Games

Friday, October 25 vs. Allen Americans

Lost 6-4: The Chill battled back from two-goal third period deficit to tie the game on Ryan Berard’s first goal of the season but Allen’s Alex Lavoie scored with 1:35 left and the Americans added an empty netter to seal the win.

Saturday, October 26 @ Quad City

Lost 7-5: Renewing an old rivalry that ended in 2006 with the late Missouri River Otters, the Chill trailed 3-0 in the first five minutes and was down 5-0 in the first period but rattled off five-straight goals to tie the game in the second period before getting shutout in the final frame.

Sunday, October 27 vs. Quad City

Won 6-5: Despite being outshot 47-28 and surrendering two two-goal leads, including the game-tying goal at the 19:02 mark, the Chill clinched their first win in franchise history (and first for head coach Jamie Rivers) in a shootout with Steve Makway scoring the clincher and Chad Costello getting credit for the game-winner.
