ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has recalled defenseman Chris Butler from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.
Butler, 29, has dressed in 46 games for the Wolves this season, posting 18 points (four goals, 14 assists) and 39 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound defenseman has also made five appearances for the Blues, serving four penalty minutes.
Overall, the St. Louis, Missouri, native has accumulated 84 points (13 goals, 71 assists) in 387 career NHL regular season games and one assist in seven career postseason appearances.
Butler was originally signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 16, 2014.
