In the evening’s third place game that opens the event, the defending League champions, the Stunt Devils, clash with the M-80s while in the nightcap, Rebel Skate Alliance tussles with the Smashinistas that will result in a new ARCH local champion.
The M-80s (2-4) notched back-to-back victories earlier this month with their 214-129 triumph over the Stunt Devils. Jammer L’Oakie Doki notched 85 points in the win while Owl Wing It! claimed 73. Camp Kwitcherbitchin’ will add rotations while blockers Dad Bod, Scouts Horror, Special Brownies, Pecan Misandry, Slam Shakusky, Crumbledore, Curl Scout, Wood Bang, Merit Badger, S’more Cowbell and Trampfire will lay down the foundation.
The Stunts (1-5) counters with jammers Scarrie Fisher, Zoe Hell and Force Choke while blockers Rhonda Lousey, Mya Pinion, Black Dynamite, Kill-Ya Knightly, Ginger Assassin, Sir Ian McKillin’ and Glenn Close But No Cigar attempt will assist.
Both teams want to end on a high note so the competition will be fierce.
In the season finale, Rebel Skate Alliance (5-1) aim to claim their first ARCH trophy since their 2011 franchise debut. Jammers Darth Tator, Admiral Aggbar, Boba Flash and Carth O’Nasty will be assited by blockers Han Rolo, Obi-Wan Kenosebleed, Jabba the Butt, Spock N’ Roll, Zombie Plagueis, Wookie Monster, Lethal Dose, SITH HAPPENS!, Yoda Blow and Titanium Falcon.
However, the Smashies (4-2) are coming into the game riding high after they topped RSA 192-191 earlier this month. Jammers Frowntown, Smashing Violet and CQ will be assisted by blockers Cloak N’ Dragher, Gnarley Carbsmashian, Smash Money, Oliver Smash, Smashsquatch, chili beans, Nigel Smashberry, WyldeSyde and Regrets.
The pair split their meetings this season and with the one point differential occurred at their last meeting, one can expect that this game might be the most dramatic one in the League’s 14-year history.
