Rapper Logic closed out his summer headlining tour last night at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre. The tour featured support from other Top 40 artists, NF and KYLE, and spanned the United States coast to coast for the duration of the summer.

Logic’s last St. Louis appearance was at the same venue when he opened for G-Eazy on his Endless Summer Tour in 2016. Flash forward two summers, and twenty thousand of Logic’s very own fans braved the 95 degree heat to see the “Everyday” rapper headline on the same stage. With the recent success of his new studio release titled Bobby Tarantino II, Logic has made himself a household name. His set, full of exuberant energy, crowd chants, and his preaching of “peace, love, and positivity,” kept the audience entertained with an eclectic mix of his discography for a full two hours.

Though, the real show-stealer proved to be the Christian rapper NF. Strongly reminiscent of young Eminem’s dark lyrics and fast bars, he kept the crowd entertained for nearly an hour, entering the stage in a cage in which he climbed at various points in his set. The “Let You Down” and “Lie” rapper is definitely one to put on the radars of hip-hop fans and concert goers alike.

The tour, called the Bobby Tarantino vs. Everybody, was a play on the title of Logic’s latest album Bobby Tarantino II, which was released in March, and his last album Everybody which skyrocketed the rapper to fame thanks to the global hit advocating for suicide awareness “1-800-273-8255.”  With its eclectic (and powerful) line-up, it’s clear to see why it was such a big hit among the crowd.
