It has been reported that a trade agreement has taken place between St. Louis and Buffalo. This is a false rumor and it was shut down today by Jeremy Rutherford on Twitter saying
“Re: O’Reilly trade report, the Blues remain in talks with Buffalo and are among the teams interested in a post-July 1st trade. But as of now, there’s no truth to a deal being a deal in place or any framework being agreed upon. #stlblues”
Sorry for anyone wanting the Blues to finally get a deal done, but it looks like it will take a little longer for the Blues to find a center.
In other news it has been noted that the Blues have been in talks with Paul Stastny and Pat Maroon both would be an upgrade considering what the roster looks like as of today.
Still a long summer, but the Blues need an upgrade and they need one bad.
