Saint Louis senior forward Matthew Wrobel was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Men’s Soccer co-Offensive Player of the Week for the period ending Aug. 25, the league announced.
Wrobel scored the game-winning goal in the Billikens’ 2-0 victory over No. 7 Indiana Friday night at Hermann Stadium. It was his 15th career goal and fourth as a Billiken.
It is the second time Wrobel earned A-10 Player of the Week honors in his career. In 2022 as a member of the St. Bonaventure Bonnies, he scored three goals over a two-game stretch against Binghamton and Canisius to earn A-10 Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Wrobel and the Billikens return to action Thursday, Aug. 29, when they travel to Dallas, Texas, to take on nationally ranked SMU. Game time is 8:30 p.m. (CT).
