Tim Dalger No Longer with SLU Men’s Basketball Program

by Brian Kunderman
Tim Dalger has left the Saint Louis men’s basketball program due to a personal family matter, he announced today.
“I would like to thank Saint Louis University for an amazing opportunity,” Dalger said. “My time here has allowed me to grow and learn so much. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to continue due to an urgent personal family matter. I look forward to my future endeavors with hopes of pursing a professional playing career. Thank you for everything, SLU.”
“Tim is a fine young man and we wish him nothing but the best,” SLU head coach Travis Ford said. “I am confident that Tim will be able to fulfill his aspirations to eventually play professionally, and he knows that we are here to support him moving forward.”
Dalger was in his fifth year of eligibility, and first at SLU, as a graduate transfer from Tulsa. He appeared in all 18 games and averaged 9.7 points and 4.1 rebounds.
The Billikens are next in action on Wednesday when they host Davidson at Chaifetz Arena. Game time is 6 p.m.
