by Mick Lite

Yadier Molina has decided not to join the Cardinals coaching staff on a full-time basis due to family matters.

He will be a special advisor with scheduled visits to Spring Training and during the Regular Season.

Yadi said that his long-term plan is still to become a Major League manager and he will be preparing for that.

Molina will be the manager of Puerto Rico’s stars in a game against the Dominican Republic on Sunday in Santiago, Dominican Republic.
