St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the team has acquired forward Kevin Hayes from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.
Hayes, 31, was originally drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round, 24th overall, of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-foot-5, 216-pound forward has spent the past four seasons with the Flyers and in 2022-23, he tallied 54 points (18 goals, 36 assists) in 81 regular-season games, earning a selection to the 2023 NHL All-Star Game.
Overall, the Dorchester, MA, native has appeared in nine NHL seasons, amassing 386 points (155 goals, 231 assists) in 634 career regular-season games as well as 26 points (eight goals, 18 assists) in 56 career postseason games.
