MEMPHIS, TN – The Memphis Redbirds continued a 12-game road trip at the Iowa Cubs on Saturday night with a 7-5 loss at Principal Park in game five of the six-game series.
Redbirds batters Masyn Winn and Luken Baker each clubbed solo home runs in the loss. The shortstop Winn went 1-for-5 with the home run and RBI while the first baseman Baker posted a 2-for-3 day with two runs scored, a double, a home run and a walk. In total, six Redbirds batters recorded base hits.

Starting pitcher Michael McGreevy tossed 5.2 innings of two-run baseball. The right-handed pitcher allowed six hits, walked two batters and struck out eight batters in the no-decision. Kodi Whitley (1-4 BS,1) allowed five runs on four hits in the bottom of the ninth inning.
