Billikens to Make Volleyball Coaching Change

by Brian Kunderman

Saint Louis Director of Athletics Chris May announced today that Kent Miller will not return as head coach of the Billikens’ volleyball program. A search for a new head coach has begun.

“We thank Kent for leading our volleyball program the last 12 years,” May said. “He led our program with great passion and coached some of the top student-athletes in program history. However, at this time change is necessary in order for the program to elevate to regularly contend for Atlantic 10 Conference championships.”

“It has been an honor to be at Saint Louis University and coach our student-athletes for the past 12 years,” Miller said. “I’m proud of our successes and wish the program well.”

From 2011-22, Miller posted a 181-166 record. He is the second-winningest coach in Billiken volleyball history.

Saint Louis played in the 2006 and 2008 NCAA Volleyball Championship after winning A-10 Championship titles. The Billikens earned an NCAA at-large selection in 2009.
