Armed with a five-game winning streak, Saint Louis men’s soccer is in a three-way tie for 21st in this week’s United Soccer Coaches poll. It is the Billikens’ first appearance in the poll this year since they had a No. 10 ranking in the preseason.
The Billikens (10-4-1, 6-1-1 A-10) captured the A-10 regular-season title for a second year in a row. They have won their last five and are unbeaten in 10 of their last 11 games.
Saint Louis is the No. 1 seed in the A-10 Men’s Soccer Championship, which begins this weekend on campus sites. The Billikens play No. 8 seed Massachusetts at Hermann Stadium on Friday 7 p.m.
