St. Louis Blues President and CEO of Business Operations Chris Zimmerman and CarShield CEO Nick Hamilton announced today the two organizations have entered into a five-year partnership agreement.

The partnership will include numerous marketing assets across the Blues’ platforms highlighted by CarShield becoming the official road helmet sponsor of the Blues.

“This is a great day for the St. Louis Blues as we welcome another locally-owned partner to our team,” said Zimmerman. “Above and beyond being the industry leader in its category, CarShield is also a champion for the St. Louis community. Those attributes and values are consistent with our standards as a team and organization, and why we will be extremely proud to have the CarShield brand represented by our players, on the ice, for every road game over the next five years.”

The CarShield logo will feature on both sides of the Blues road white helmets, starting with the team’s first preseason game against the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday in Wichita, Kansas. The decal blends well with the Blues road uniforms and will provide strong brand recognition on all Blues road broadcasts, both local and national.

“This partnership with the Blues just feels natural,” said Hamilton. “Our organizations are not only passionate about hockey, but also the community of St. Louis. We chose the branding on the helmets purposefully because it stands for protection, which we are all about as a company. When people feel protected they can feel confident to perform their best, regardless of the situation. We are honored to have CarShield on the helmets as the Blues take the ice.”

CarShield is the nationwide leader in the Vehicle Service Contract industry. Since forming in 2005, CarShield has grown to employ over 1100 people from the St. Louis area and has earned both the St. Louis Business Journal and St. Louis Post Dispatch Best Place To Work awards.
