Blues Recall Forwards Jordan Kyrou And Austin Poganski From San Antonio

St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the Blues have recalled forwards Jordan Kyrou and Austin Poganski from the team’s American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.

Kyrou, 21, was originally drafted by the Blues in the second round, 35th overall, of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.  This season, the 6’0, 175-pound forward has dressed in 16 games with the Rampage, tallying 15 points (nine goals, six assists) and 10 penalty minutes.  Last season, Kyrou served a 16-game stint with the Blues, collecting three points (one goal, two assists) and four penalty minutes.  Overall, the Toronto, Ontario, native has totaled 58 points (25 goals, 33 assists) and 20 penalty minutes in 64 career AHL regular-season games.

Poganski, 23, was originally drafted by the Blues in the fourth round, 110th overall, of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.  This season, the 6’2, 200-pound forward has appeared in 22 games with the Rampage, posting 13 points (two goals, 11 assists) and six penalty minutes.  Overall, the St. Cloud, Minnesota, native has spent the past three seasons in San Antonio, totaling 46 points (12 goals, 34 assists) and 18 penalty minutes.
