Chris Bruch Signs with Billikens

by Press Release

Saint Louis men’s soccer coach Kevin Kalish today announced the addition of Chris Bruch to the men’s soccer program.

Bruch, who will have three years of eligibility beginning in the fall, is a Peoria, Illinois, native who played at the University of Wisconsin last year.

“We are thrilled to have Chris join our team,” Kalish said. “Chris’ work ethic and passion to win is going to make an immediate impact on our team. He is a tremendous competitor and person who will contribute to our culture both on and off the field.”

Bruch was a member of Saint Louis FC’s Academy (U18/19) and the St. Louis Scott Gallagher Metro (U15/16) Academy squads. He served as a team captain at Scott Gallagher.

Bruch prepped at Peoria Notre Dame, where he accumulated 12 goals and 11 assists his freshman and sophomore seasons.

“I chose SLU because I want to be a part of the rich history of the program here,” Bruch said. “I have a great relationship with the coaches and I believe in their plan for the team. There’s a great group of guys on the team who are willing to do whatever it takes to succeed. SLU also has a world-renowned business program, which is my field of interest.”

The addition to Bruch brings the SLU newcomer count to 14. You can read more about the Billikens’ incoming class here.
