St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the Blues have assigned defenseman Chris Butler and forward Jordan Nolan to the club’s American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.
Butler, 32, has dressed in 23 games for the Rampage this season, posting 10 points (two goals, eight assists) and 14 penalty minutes. The 6’1, 196-pound defenseman has also appeared in 12 games with the Blues, collecting a goal and an assist. A native of St. Louis, Butler has recorded 86 points (14 goals, 72 assists) and 187 penalty minutes in 406 career National Hockey League (NHL) regular-season games.
Nolan, 29, has dressed in 24 games for the Rampage this season, tallying 15 points (seven goals, eight assists) and 21 penalty minutes. The 6’3, 235-pound forward has also played in 11 games for the Blues, posting two assists and 14 penalty minutes. Overall, the Garden River, Ontario, native has played in 372 career NHL regular-season games, accumulating 52 points (24 goals, 28 assists) and 347 penalty minutes.
