The Fantasy Feed – Everything Fantasy for Week 6

Bold Predictions for Week 6

Dalvin Cook

The Vikings are still the only team in the NFL without a rushing touchdown.  Dalvin Cook is finally the healthiest he has been all year.  He’s going to have a big game and a must start in all leagues.  While Cook has been out, Latavius Murray has had every chance to take over this Vikings backfield but has been a bust averaging just 3.53 yards per carry.  Cook will always be bothered by this hamstring injury, but he has a great matchup this week against a Cardinals team that allows the second-most rush yards in the league (142.8) and the most rushing touchdowns (8).

Julio Jones

Julio Jones has 3 touchdowns in the last 21 regular season games.  Rookie Calvin Ridley has already recorded 6 this season so far.  Don’t worry fantasy owners because your first round pick is going to go off this week.  Last season, Julio sparked against the Bucs at home: 12 receptions on 15 targets, 253 yards and 2 touchdowns.  This was also the last game Julio caught a touchdown….The Bucs defense gives up the most points in the NFL (34.8), the second-most yards per game (445.8), and the most passing yards (358).

Doug Baldwin

Seahawks Wire – USA Today

Baldwin has been quiet since his return from a knee injury.  Last game against the Rams: 1 reception for 1 yard.  Of course that’s pathetic but the most Seattle can do with him right now is scare the defense with his presence on the field.  This week will be a turn around week for the #1 receiver in Seattle.  I trust Baldwin more than most people do in fantasy because in his first “healthy” game back he caught 5 passes for 41 yards.  He’s getting a change in scenery this weekend as the team heads to London and expect him to be explosive against a weaker Oakland secondary who’s yet to allow 100 yards to a receiver this year.

Start or Sit

  • Eric Ebron – Start…with TY out he’s the go-to target for Luck
  • Kenyan Drake – Sit…the Bears defense is first in the league in rush yards allowed (64)
  • Alex Collins – Start…the Titans defense is the 6th worst in allowing rush yards (123.2)
  • Alfred Morris – Sit…regardless of the Breida injury, the 49ers won’t be rushing the ball much while GB is winning
  • Tevin Coleman – Start…his versatility makes him a viable option with Devonta Freeman out
  • Cameron Brate – Start…he’s been the forever favorite target of Winston over the past two seasons; expect a TD
  • Blake Bortles – Start…if you have Brees on a bye, he’s my QB of choice from free agency in a great matchup vs. DAL
  • Michael Crabtree – Sit…supposed to be the #1 this season but has been overshadowed by John Brown

Watching the Waiver

  • D’Onta Foreman – HOU RB – off PUP list Week 7…he’s a must-add in all leagues
  • Marlon Mack – IND RB – with the RB troubles in Indy, the Colts are looking for Mack to take over the backfield
  • Ronald Jones – TB RB – coming off the bye week, expect to see more and more of the second round pick out of USC
