Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina and Foundation 4, a non-profit organization founded by
Yadier and his wife Wanda Torres in 2010, will host a charity dinner event called Rums of Puerto Rico
presents Flavors of Puerto Rico in St. Louis, Mo. on Thursday, June 14, 2018 starting at 6 p.m. at
Windows on Washington. The proceeds from this event will benefit victims of hurricane María in Puerto
Rico.
“We have been very active in helping hurricane victims in Puerto Rico get back on their feet. This event
will help us strengthen our efforts to continue aiding those who lost everything during the Septemberstorm,”
said Molina. “We invite all corporate donors in St. Louis who want to collaborate with the
renewal of my homeland of Puerto Rico to join this memorable evening.”
The June 14 sit-down dinner will feature a Puerto Rican flavors, rum-based menu by the island’s Iron
Chef Mario Pagán, a cocktail reception sponsored by Rums of Puerto Rico, live music, and a live auction
of baseball memorabilia, and original works by Puerto Rican and Missouri artists and designers. “We
want to show the people of St. Louis what Puerto Rico is all about, intense favors, happy people, and
contagious rhythms,“ stated Molina.
At the charity event, Molina will be joined by some of his St. Louis Cardinals teammates and members of
the Chicago Cubs baseball team, who will be in St. Louis for a 3-game series starting on June 15, 2018.
Molina thanked the St. Louis Cardinals’ Cardinals Care organization and Rums of Puerto Rico for their
help and support in making this event a reality. “I am moved by the support of my St. Louis team and
fellow Puerto Ricans. Join us in helping hurricane victims have a new chance in life.”

Flavors of Puerto Rico is the first charity event hosted by Yadier Molina and the Foundation 4
organization in St. Louis, Mo. In December 2017 Foundation 4 celebrated a celebrity Home Run Derby
event in Puerto Rico featuring MLB players and local celebrities. Foundation 4 is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit
charity.
Yadier Molina is currently featured in Cardinals Magazine, April edition, for his hard work and
