This Blues team in 2018 is in serious trouble. The number one line is playing like a third line and the third line is playing like a bunch of players that should be scratched.
Doug Armstrong shouldn’t trade for a big name rental or over pay for another third line player that won’t help. The Blues should honestly look at what they could get for Paul Stastny.
Paul Stastny will be a hard player to trade given his salary but maybe a team like Vegas who might be willing to grab a center like Stastny for the playoffs.
I do know that this team needs a shakeup, and no I’m not saying trade everyone away. I am saying certain players that are invisible during the games need to go.
Could they trade for a player and go on a 10 game winning streak? Yeah, and this article will be pointless at that point. Doug Armstrong needs to figure out which direction he wants this team to go.
Would you give up on a young player like Fabbri? I think I could live with that given his injury troubles in the past. Either way this team right now is heading in the wrong direction and that’s not the way you want to go without a 1st round pick this year.
