Blues Activate Zach Sanford From Injured Reserve

St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has activated forward Zach Sanford from injured reserve (IR).  Sanford has been sidelined all season after undergoing surgery to repair a dislocated left shoulder on Sept. 19.  Sanford has been assigned to the American Hockey League’s (AHL) San Antonio Rampage.

Sanford, 23, was originally acquired by the Blues via trade from Washington on Feb. 27, 2017.  The 6’4, 207-pound forward dressed in 13 regular season games for the Blues last season, posting five points (two goals, three assists).  Overall, the Salem, Massachusetts, native has appeared in 39 career NHL games, collecting eight points (four goals, four assists) and 10 penalty minutes.
