ABOUT THE BILLIKENS
Roster | Schedule | 2017-18 Statistics

– Saint Louis is coming off a thrilling win against Duquesne and enters the UMass game with a 9-10 overall record and a 2-4 mark in Atlantic 10 Conference play.

– SLU head coach Travis Ford was UMass’ head coach from 2005-08. SLU graduate student manager Danté Milligan played for Ford at UMass from 2006-08.

– Freshman guard Jordan Goodwin registered a triple-double in the win against Duquesne with 13 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists. It was the first triple-double in school history and comes one game after Goodwin neared a triple-double with nine points, nine rebounds and 11 assists at George Mason.

– Senior guard Davell Roby became the 31st Billiken to reach 1,000 career points when he converted a layup in the second half against Duquesne. Amazingly, the 1,000th point came on Goodwin’s triple-double-clinching assist.

– Junior guard Javon Bess continues to lead the team in scoring, averaging 13.0 ppg. Through games of Jan. 17, he led the league and ranked in the top 25 nationally in free throws made (23rd, 104 FTM) and attempted (15th, 141 FTA).

– Goodwin is one of 15 players nationally and the only freshman to lead his team in rebounding avg. (7.3 rpg), assists (79) and steals (41) He has posted 21 assists to just three turnovers the last two games.

– Freshman forward Hasahn French is second in the A-10 with 34 blocks. He is third in school history for most blocks in a season by a freshman.

– Junior forward D.J. Foreman, who scored a career-high 21 points in the Duquesne game, leads all A-10 players in FG percentage in A-10 games (.727, 24-of-33).

– As a team, Saint Louis is third in the Atlantic 10 Conference in scoring defense, allowing 66.7 ppg.
