SETTING THE SCENE
– Saint Louis opens a two-game homestand to conclude the nonconference schedule on Tuesday when it hosts Campbell at Chaifetz Arena. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
– Tuesday’s game will not be televised. The game will be streamed, free of charge and in HD, on the A-10 Digital Network. Note that since the game is not televised on FSMW, there will be no geographical blackout. You can watch the game on desktop computers by clicking this link. Fans wishing to watch on their mobile device must do so through the free Atlantic 10 Conference app, which can be downloaded in the app store.
– The radio broadcast will air on 101 ESPN (101.1 FM and 101Sports.com). As always, Billiken Hall of Famer Bob Ramsey provides the play-by-play, while St. Louis American Sports Editor Earl Austin Jr. handles the analysis.
– Tuesday’s game is part of a doubleheader with the women’s team. SLU hosts Tulsa at 5 p.m.
– Fans with a men’s basketball game ticket for Tuesday gain free admission to the women’s game by showing their men’s basketball ticket at the gate. Please note that seating for women’s games is general admission and first-come, first-served.

ABOUT THE BILLIKENS

– Saint Louis enters Tuesday’s game against Campbell with a 5-6 record.
– In their last outing Dec. 16, the Billikens fell 63-60 against Oregon State at the Moda Center in Portland, Ore. Freshman guard Jordan Goodwin scored a career-high 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field and 3-of-6 from 3-point range.
– Junior guard Javon Bess continues to lead the team in scoring, averaging 14.1 ppg. Through games of Sunday, Dec. 17, he led the league and ranked in the top 15 nationally in free throws made (69) and attempted (88).
– Goodwin leads the Billikens in rebounding (6.6 rpg), assists (45) and steals (26). He is second on the team in scoring with 10.7 ppg. Goodwin is fourth in the A-10 in assists, sixth in assist-turnover ratio (2.1) and seventh in assists.
– Freshman forward Hasahn French is tied for second in the A-10 in blocked shots per game (2.3). His 23 blocks are eighth in school history for most blocks in a season by a freshman. French is second on the Billikens in rebounding (6.3 rpg).
– Senior guard Davell Roby (9.8 ppg) has drained a team-best 17 3-pointers. Roby is the Billikens’ active career-leading scorer with 890 points and needs 110 more to become the 31st member of SLU’s 1,000 point club.
– As a team, the Billikens lead the league in trips to the foul line (271). They are second in free throws made with 180.
– Saint Louis is fourth in the Atlantic 10 Conference in scoring defense, allowing 66.6 ppg. The Billikens have held five opponents this year to 65 points or less.
– Up next, SLU concludes its nonconference schedule when it hosts Southeast Missouri State at Chaifetz Arena on Friday, Dec. 22, at 6 p.m. The game will be televised on FOX Sports Midwest.

– Campbell University is located in Buies Creek, North Carolina, roughly 30 miles south of Raleigh.
– The Camels enter Tuesday’s game with a 5-5 record.
– Guard Chris Clemons leads the Camels with 23.6 ppg. The Big South Conference preseason Player of the Year has scored in double figures in 58 consecutive appearances, the nation’s longest active streak. Clemons entered this season as the nation’s leading returning scorer after averaging 25.1 ppg a season ago. He went through the NBA draft process over the summer and had workouts with the Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets, but he elected to return to Campbell.
– Guard Marcus Burk scores 18.4 ppg on 56.9 percent shooting from the field (70-of-123) and 48.1 percent shooting from the arc (37-of-77). He scored 33 points at UNC Wilmington earlier this year.
– Head coach Kevin McGeehan is in his fifth year at Campbell. Last season, he guided the Camels to the quarterfinal round of the CollegeInsider.com postseason tournament, the program’s first postseason appearance since 1992. Previously, McGeehan served as an assistant coach on Chris Mooney’s staff at Richmond from 2005 to 2013.
– This is the first meeting on the hardwood between Saint Louis and Campbell.
