That said, any UCL damage significant enough to warrant an MRI is bad, and Alex Reyes being a hard thrower doesn’t lend itself to optimism.
Jim Bowden, of ESPN says a source told him that Reyes has a partial tear of the ulnar collateral ligament in his elbow and will get a second opinion, but season-ending Tommy John surgery is likely.
