Schwartz Sidelined With Elbow Injury

St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Friday that forward Jaden Schwartz will miss at least four weeks after injuring his left elbow during a training camp practice on Sept. 29.

Schwartz, 24, appeared in 33 regular season games with the Blues last season, posting 22 points (eight goals, 14 assists). The 5-foot-10, 190-pound forward also dressed in all 20 Blues postseason games, sharing third on the team with 14 points (four goals, 10 assists).

Originally drafted by the Blues 14th overall in the 2010 NHL Draft, the Wilcox, Saskatchewan, native has accumulated 157 points (70 goals, 87 assists) in 240 career regular season games and 21 points (six goals, 15 assists) in 38 career playoff games.
