Cardinals Sign All Draft Picks from Top 10 Rounds

The St. Louis Cardinals signed seven more players including second round pick RHP Connor Jones and third round pick RHP Zac Gallen (GAL-en), to complete a day of five draft picks and two non-drafted free agents.

Left-handed pitcher John Kilichowski (kill-a-CHOW-ski, 11^th round), shortstop Brady Whalen (WAY-len, 12^th round), right-handed pitcher Eric Carter (26^th round) and free agents Yariel Gonzalez andAnthony Shew have all agreed to terms and have passed physicals.

The Cardinals have signed all 12 of their draft picks from the Top 10 rounds, 32 of their 42 draft picks and six non-drafted free agents.

The Cardinals have until July 15 at 4:00 p.m. CT, to sign players from the 2016 MLB First-Year Player Draft.
