Steve Ott Diagnosed with Colitis

St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today that forward Steve Ott has been diagnosed with Colitis.

Ott is being treated by Dr. William Birenbaum of Washington University Orthopedics Center and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

Ott, 33, has missed the past 53 games after undergoing hamstring surgery on Dec. 6. The 6-foot, 189-pound forward is currently in his second season with the Blues after the club acquired him via trade from Buffalo on March 1, 2014.

Ott has dressed in 21 games this season, logging two assists and 34 penalty minutes.
