Wrestlemania 32 Preview: Main Event

by Jeremy Karp

On Sunday, April 3rd, Wrestlemania 32 will culminate in a main event with one of the most prestigious titles in professional wrestling on the line. In a WWE World Heavweight Title match, Triple H will face off against Roman Reigns.

Triple H, the COO of World Wrestling Entertainment, is a part of “The Authority”, with his wife Stephanie McMahon by his side, and they both work to decide what’s “best for business”. And to them, keeping Reigns out of the title picture is exactly that.

However, the resilient Reigns keeps on going, and has constantly fought to remain in the title hunt.

At WWE Fastlane, Reigns defeated Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar in a triple threat match to become the number one contender for Triple H’s title. Interestingly enough, Reigns was the champion heading into 2016, until Vince McMahon ordered him to defend his title in the 2016 Royal Rumble, which was won by Triple H, making him a 14-time World Champion.

Despite being the underdog in the fight, Reigns has been facing plenty of scrutiny and criticism from fans worldwide.

Triple H has been cheered week after week, whenever both of these wrestlers engage in an intense brawl, the last of which took place last week on Monday Night RAW, in which the superstars from the locker room actually had to come in and break up the brawl.

Reigns will look to take back what he believes is rightfully his, as Wrestlemania 32 will either close with “The Game” Triple H once again emerging victorious at Wrestlemania, or with the sight of Reigns holding up the title triumphantly in front of over 100,000 people in Dallas, Texas.

Wrestlemania 32 from top to bottom has a big slew of talented wrestlers facing off in eleven matches, which will culminate in the WWE World Heavyweight Title match. And this Sunday, WWE will attempt to break the all-time indoor attendance record (which they held from 1987 until 2010, during Wrestlemania III).
