Wrestlemania 32 Preview: Part Ten

by Jeremy Karp

Although it is not the main event of Wrestlemania 32, the match that has really grasped the majority of the fans’ attention as of late is the No Holds Barred match between Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar. There’s no title at stake, no stipulation for either opponent.

Just what is sure to be a bloody, intense fight.

Over the past couple of weeks on Monday Night RAW, “the lunatic fringe” Ambrose has received motivational speeches from some of the greatest and most hardcore wrestlers of all time, including Mick Foley and Terry Funk, both of which gave Ambrose a “gift” (Foley gave Ambrose a barbwire baseball bat, and Funk gave him a chainsaw).

As for Lesnar, who, as mentioned in the previous article, was the one who ended The Undertaker‘s undefeated streak, he doesn’t need a weapon that one could find under the ring, but instead use his MMA/UFC skills, and just be the dominate beast that has made him a household name across the world.

What has led to this match actually is the attitude of Ambrose, who has constantly called out Lesnar, practically begging him for a beat-down at every opportunity. And during each confrontation, all “the beast incarnate” Lesnar can do is smile, seemingly enjoying the pain that he delivers to his opponent.

But on Sunday, there’s no running, and there’s no hiding. Both of these men, two of the toughest in professional wrestling, will square off with no rules, except the only way to win being by pinfall or submission. All kinds of weapons will be used, tables will probably be broken, and the fight will almost surely eventually take place outside of the ring.

Ambrose is bound and determined to take Lesnar to the limit and show just how vunerable “the beast” can be, but Lesnar looks to stop the crazy antics of Ambrose once and for all.

Something has to give this Sunday at Wrestlemania 32…
