The return of the Schwartz

It’s a good day to be a Blues fan. I’m being genuine (this time). Jaden Schwartz has been activated from the injured reserve and will return next game.

Schwartz will help out the struggling offense, but don’t get your expectations too high this early. Although he scored 28 goals last season, he hasn’t played in 49 games. Chances are he is a bit rusty.

That’s OK though. It seems like anything will help the Blues right now. Players are dropping left and right due to injuries.

While registering his 28 goals in 75 games last season, Schwartz tallied 63 total points.

Hitchcock wanted to see him with Stastny/Steen, but I sense a reunion of the STL line.I am expecting lines like this for Friday’s game:

Berglund- Steen- Backes

Schwartz- Lehtera- Tarasenko

Fabbri- Stastny- Brouwer

Upshall- Brodziak- Reaves

Tune in Friday as the Blues battle the Panthers down in nicer weather. The game will start at 6:30 p.m.
