St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has recalled goaltender Pheonix Copley and forward Ty Rattie from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.
Copley, 24, was originally acquired by the Blues via trade from Washington on July 2, 2015. The 6-foot-4, 195-pound goaltender has appeared in 25 games with the Wolves this season, posting an 11-11-1 record along with a 2.75 goals against average, a .905 save percentage and three shutouts.
During his AHL rookie season in 2014-15, the North Pole, Alaska, native dressed in 26 regular season games for the Hershey Bears, tallying a 17-4-3 record, along with a 2.17 goals against average, a .925 save percentage and three shutouts.
Rattie, 22, has dressed in 32 games with the Wolves this season and ranks fourth on the club with 25 points (nine goals, 16 assists). The 6’0, 189-pound forward has also made 11 appearances with the Blues, posting five points (three goals, two assists).
