The St. Louis Surge women’s professional basketball team released its 2016 season schedule Wednesday as it re-charges for the upcoming campaign.
National runners-up in the Women’s Blue Chip Basketball League (WBCBL) in 2015 and Champion the year prior, the Surge will once again play all their home games at UMSL’s Mark Twain Building on Saturday nights.
The first five games of the 10-game regular season will be road contests, which includes journeys to Nebraska and Kansas City.
The squad launches its home campaign on June 11 against Midwest Division compatriot Nebraska. This begins three straight home weekends of hard court play as meetings against Iowa and Missouri-based Elite Flyers follow.
The home campaign finishes against cross-state rival Kansas City on July 16.
St. Louis finished last season 11-2 in WBCBL-sanctioned play and 13-2 overall.
An all-inclusive season ticket package at home is available for $75 at THIS LINK.
