Saint Louis volleyball will host its Alumni Day on Aug. 22. The Billikens will conduct a free youth clinic, the Megan Boken Alumni Match and a preseason kickoff fundraiser.
On Saturday, Aug. 22, the Billikens host a free youth volleyball clinic from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. The clinic is offered to athletes in grades 4-8 and will be conducted by current and former Saint Louis volleyball players. The clinic will be capped to the first 80 registrants.
Following the clinic, the Saint Louis volleyball team will host the Megan Boken Alumni Match at 2 p.m. in Chaifetz Pavilion. The match will feature the current Billiken volleyball team taking on Billiken alumni. Admission for the match is $5. Children 12 and younger will receive free admission. Proceeds from the alumni match will benefit the Megan Boken Fund.
Numerous alumni will compete in the match including: Whitney Behrens, Sutton Lasater, Whitney Kramer (Roth), Sarah Entzeroth, Bridget Fonke, Jessica Fahrenhorst (Poorbaugh), Carly Marcum, Sally Warning and Carly Schumacher. The alumni will be coached by former assistant coach Corey Arbini.
