Former Saint Louis men’s soccer standouts Brad Davis and Tim Ream have been named to the U.S. Men’s National Team’s CONCACAF Gold Cup roster, as announced by USMNT head coach Jurgen Klinsmann.

Davis and Ream are no strangers to the U.S. national team.

Davis, an All-American for the Billikens in 2000 and 2001, played for the United States in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, starting against Germany. He will be making his second Gold Cup appearance for the USMNT. In 2005, Davis buried the decisive PK to give the United States the CONCACAF championship. Davis currently plays for the Houston Dynamo in Major League Soccer and is third all-time in MLS with 116 career assists.

Ream, an All-American and Atlantic 10 Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2009, has earned multiple caps with the U.S. national team throughout his career. He just wrapped up another successful season with the Bolton Wanderers in England, for whom he was tabbed Player of the Year by the club and its official supporters group for a second consecutive year. Ream was also a member of the USMNT’s Gold Cup squad in 2011.

The Americans play an exhibition game against Guatemala on July 3 in Nashville. The USMNT, the reigning Gold Cup champions, begins the tournament July 7 against Honduras in Frisco, Texas. All games in the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup will be played in the United States and Canada.
