In anticipation of its mixed martial arts showcase next month at Scottrade Center, Bellator MMA will present an open-to-the-public press conference Tuesday at Ballpark Village featuring the two heavyweight fighters that are scheduled to meet in the cage in the marquee match-up.
The official press conference, which promotes June 18’s “Bellator: Unfinished Business” event, will take place Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Fox Sports Midwest Live!
Attending Tuesday will be “The World’s Most Dangerous Man” Ken Shamrock and Kimbo Slice, who will face off in the heavyweight main event.
Also scheduled to appear will be Bellator heavyweight Bobby Lashley, a former Missouri Valley College wrestling standout and former WWE Champion, former Bellator Lightweight champion and Mizzou Tiger Michael Chandler, and Bellator MMA President Scott Coker.
The June 18 feature attraction at Scottrade has the legendary Shamrock (28-15-2) battling Slice (4-2) in a highly anticipated match-up. Prior to that, Bellator Featherweight Champion Patricio Pitbull (23-2) defends his title against Daniel Weichel (35-8).
Lashley and Chandler will have feature matches within their respective weight classes and a fifth fight for the main card, which will air live on cable network Spike, will be revealed shortly.
A four-fight preliminary card will stream live on spike.com.
